                                      **************************************************************************************

LS:17 papers

All papers shall be submitted by authors to IEEE Xplore to get individual DOI

The full process shall be finalized by the authors by October 3rd, 2022 (attention: Firm Deadline – no extension possible)

Before submitting the final paper version for PDF conversion:

Be sure that the paper respects strictly IEEE templates in A4 paper format only (templates available: https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html)

  • Fix typos, spelling, layout, readability without significantly impacting the content or flow of the paper
  • Make any change to respond to the suggestions made during review phase by referees
  • Don't remove anything from the paper, that results in the paper being weakened
  • You shall not alter the authors list by adding, deleting authors or changing authors position in the list. You must keep it as it was submitted for the conference.

Procedure to follow for creating the final PDF file

  1. Go to PDFeXpress® website (https://ieee-pdf-express.org)
  2. Login or create an IEEE PDFeXpress® account, entering basic contact information; gets confirmation of account creation email. The Conference ID is: 52346X (see illustation here)
  3. Upload source file(s) for Conversion or a PDF for Compatibility Checking; get email confirmation of file receipt (mail sent from: helpdesk-ieee@aptaracorp.com – check your spam folder…).
  4. Submitted PDFs are Checked for IEEE Xplore®-compatibility; source file(s) are Converted to IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs.
  5. If a PDF is submitted: you will receive an email stating that PDF Passed or Failed the Check. The result is also marked in your list (see illustation here)
  6. If the PDF fails, a PDF Check report is attached to the email. Author goes to account and clicks "Understanding the PDF Check Report" for solutions.
  7. If source is submitted: you will receive the IEEE PDFeXpress®-generated PDF as an attachment, and through your IEEE PDFeXpress® account. Review PDF to ensure that it views on screen and prints as you intended.
  8. If necessary, revisions may be submitted (PDF or source); return to Step 2.
Make sure that there are no grammatical, spelling, or content errors in articles prior to submitting to PDFeXpress®.
  9. When you have an acceptable IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF, submit this final PDF to the conference by clicking Approve button.
  10. Download the final PDF file by clicking on the dedicate button. IMPORTANT: Any changes made to a PDF after IEEE PDF eXpress® conversion or PDF Checking may invalidate Xplore compatibility. This includes headers, page numbers, copyright notice, watermarks, etc. If any of these elements are desired, they should be added to the document before a PDF is created.
  11. Upload the unaltered PDF file to: https://turingb.ups-tlse.fr:5001/sharing/9LzoVREnP (give your Family_First name (separated with “_”when prompted). If you submit more than 1 paper, please open each time a new session using Family_First_1, Family_First_2…
  12. The papers will appear in IEEE Xplore at the end of the full process at around mid-November.

All papers listed to the IEEE Xplore are eligible and by invitation only, for republication to IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications (deadline June 2023) - This journal applies the “present first – publish after” policy. The paper will pass again through peer review process and shall disclose explicitly that has been published to LS/EEDAL conference. Publication is free of charge (except if paper exceeds 12 printed pages)
